Moses Okello is a strategic leader in women’s economic empowerment, with over eight years of dedicated experience as a practitioner. He serves as the Women’s Economic Empowerment Lead and Jasiri Fund Manager at the Centre for Rights Education and Awareness. He has contributed to policies and strategies that have shaped the entrepreneurship sector of our economy, contributing to significant transformations in the financial ecosystem.

He has been instrumental in developing and implementing integrated approaches to empower women entrepreneurs in Kenya. His expertise lies in strengthening economic pathways for economic recovery and resilience among women and young people, amplifying their voices, and restoring their agency in the socio-economic and political spheres.

Moses co-chairs the Nairobi County Socio-economic Empowerment and Financial Inclusion Sector Working Group and the WEE-COP’s Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Entrepreneurship thematic area. His leadership and dedication have significantly contributed to advancing the cause of women’s economic empowerment, a key change maker in the sector.
